To put it bluntly, the public is fed up with the rotating strikes teachers have launched across the province and they want it to stop.
A new poll shows overwhelming support for sitting both sides down and forcing them to find a solution.
The poll, conducted last week as part of a DART & Maru/Blue Voice Canada Poll, found that 78% believe the impasse should be resolved by appointing an “independent third-party.” That’s a pretty strong majority who, regardless of which side they support — the teachers or the government — have had enough.
